2023 Easter Sunrise Service

Join us as we celebrate our Risen Savior and watch the sun rise over Mission Bay!  Here is the schedule of activities for our morning at Crown Point Park on Sunday, April 9:

  • Easter Sunrise Service! 6:00AM We’ll observe communion as we watch the sunrise, sing songs of worship and be encouraged by the Word. 
  • After service we will have breakfast for all at 7:30AM, followed by an extended time of fun and fellowship in the park until 11:30AM with games like croquet, corn hole, and bocce ball.
  • Need prayer? Come by our prayer tent between 8:00-11:00AM. Our volunteer team members would love to pray with you.
  • Of course, we’ll have an Egg Hunt at 9:00AM, a Bounce House and other activities for our kids!

Easter Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with the SDCF church family.  To make the most of the day, consider bringing the following:

  • Camp chairs lounge on during the day or to sit on during service if you prefer (we will have a limited amount of chairs setup for the service).
  • Blankets and jackets to keep cozy during sunrise service.
  • Easter baskets for the kids' egg hunt.
  • Hats, sunblock, sunshades, umbrellas for the sunny day.
  • Basketballs, frisbees, footballs, bicycles, scooters etc.

How to Get to

Crown Point Park

Directions: take the 8 West. Exit on West Mission Bay Dr/Sports Arena Blvd. Go North on W Mission Bay. SeaWorld will be on your right. The street becomes Ingraham. Once you pass ski beach you will proceed over the bridge and turn right on to Crown Point Dr. Take your first right on to Corona Oriente Rd into Crown Point park. Once on Corona Oriente Rd you will take the third right into the parking lot closest to the basketball court.  Look for the SDCF flags on the hill!
